One experience of Monashee Powder and the Morgans were completely hooked ... so they invested in adventure.

With a monstrous annual snowfall of 60 feet and fantastic terrain, Tom and Carolyn Morgan knew that Mt. Tsuius was a skier and boarders ultimate powder heaven.

In 1999 the Tsuius lodge was built, providing guests a casual home style atmosphere with breathtaking 360 degree vistas of the Monashees. Sitting at an elevation of 5,200 feet and centrally located on 17,000 acres, the lodge's location facilitates a short ride to long runs and, unlike helicopters, snowcats run in all kinds of weather so you can expect to ski 10,000 to 18,000 vertical feet per day.

Monashee Powder Snowcats have 4,800 vertical feet of tantalizing peaks, delicious bowls, fabulous trees, beautiful glades and cut-blocks full of pillows all the way down to the Shuswap River.

Every Sunday for 4 days and every Thursday for three days, 24 guests are treated to a well-orchestrated adventure starting in Cherryville, BC. and ending somewhere close to heaven. Everyone is transported via Monashee Powder's bus from Cherryville to the trail head, then onto our comfortable snowcats for a trip up to Monashee's winter wonderland.

Never skied powder? No problem. You do not have to have powder experience, but guests need to be strong intermediate skiers. With appropriate ski equipment and with qualified MPS guides coaching, you will be floating on powder in no time.

Whether you are trying powder for the first time or you are a seasoned veteran, one visit to Monashee Powder Snowcats and just like Tom and Carolyn, you'll be hooked! This is your chance to discover the ultimate powder experience and quite possibly the trip of a lifetime.
